User Data Deletion

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Tercela, operated by Terglos LLC, lets you request the deletion of your personal data at any time. This page explains what you can delete yourself, how to request full deletion, and what happens after a request.

1. What you can delete yourself

  • Connected social accounts — disconnect any platform (WhatsApp, Instagram, X, TikTok and others) in your dashboard under Channels → Connections, or via DELETE /api/v1/channels/connections/{id}. Disconnecting revokes and deletes the stored access tokens for that account.
  • Platform permissions — you can also remove Tercela's access directly in the third-party platform (for example, in Facebook/Instagram under Settings → Business integrations), which invalidates the tokens on their side.

2. How to request full account and data deletion

Send an email to contact@tercela.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Data deletion request". You may also call +1 (239) 345-1750. We may ask you to confirm the request from your registered email to verify your identity.

3. What gets deleted

  • Your account and profile data (name, username, email);
  • your organizations (when you are the sole owner) and memberships;
  • connected account identifiers and encrypted access tokens;
  • content, messages and delivery logs processed through your account;
  • API keys and webhook configurations.

We may retain limited data where required by law (for example, billing and tax records) for the legally mandated period, and anonymized aggregate usage statistics that no longer identify you.

4. Timeline and confirmation

We complete deletion requests within 30 days and send a confirmation to your email when done. Data in encrypted backups is purged in the normal backup rotation cycle (up to 90 days).

5. Data on third-party platforms

Content already published to a Connected Platform (for example, a post on Instagram or a message delivered on WhatsApp) lives on that platform and is governed by its own policies — deleting your Tercela data does not remove it there. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
